Digital Shanghai

This year, for the first time, Digital Shanghai will be at MWC Shanghai 2023. Leveraging MWC Shanghai’s international influence, it aims to create an international stage for the connectivity industry in China, highlighting the global vision and strategic position of Shanghai City.

Its goal is to strengthen the domestic industry’s innovation ecosystem and showcase its leading achievements of science and technology on the worldwide stage, including those in next-generation information technology. Digital Shanghai aims to establish Shanghai as a global benchmark for 5G and promote it as an international digital city through the combination of MWC Shanghai and the Shanghai digital ecosystem.

Highlights of Digital Shanghai

With the continuous development of the next-generation information technology, networking, informatization, and intelligence have deeply penetrated every aspect of the economy, daily life, and governance. The digital transformation of cities has entered the fast lane. Major developed cities around the world have begun to explore how to use the next-generation information technology to solve a series of challenges in the development of modern international cities. Guided by the Digital China Initiative strategic blueprint, Shanghai has comprehensively promoted the digital transformation of the city, giving rise to a batch of outstanding industry application cases and achieving unprecedented success as an “international digital city”.

For these reasons, the “MWC Shanghai 2023″ has specially set up the “Digital Shanghai”, which focuses on showcasing the achievements of Shanghai’s innovative digital infrastructure development. It presents numerous cases of outstanding enterprises, including Zhongshan Hospital, Huashan Hospital, Shanghai Information Investment (SII), China State Construction, INESA, Dahan Tricom, Shanghai International Automobile City, General Plan, West Well and many others. The aim is to comprehensively demonstrate Shanghai’s abundant results in empowering high-quality economic development, improved living standards for citizens, and efficient city operations through the next-generation information technology. In addition, Digital Shanghai also features the Shanghai Auditorium, which can accommodate 300 attendees. During the same period, forums and conferences will be held, and all are welcome to participate.
