Chengliang Zhang

Speaker Bio

Chengliang Zhang, professorate senior engineer, is the President of the China Telecom Research Institute. He is a fellow of China Institute of Communications and the Vice Director of Optical Communication Committee in this society. He is one of the national talents of New Century Ten Million Talents Project. He is also the Vice Chair of the Transport and Access Network Group of the China Communications Standards Association. He led his team to win the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award twice. He was awarded the “Outstanding Mid-Aged Expert” by the Ministry of Human Resources, and the fourth “Outstanding Engineer Award” by the International Scientific Exchange Foundation of China.
