Speaker Bio

Xiaowen ZHU is Founding Partner at Plug and Play China Fund, focusing on the investments in advanced manufacturing, robotics and AI. She led the investment in Flexiv, Mindverse, Multi-Way Robotics, Orcauboat and many other startups. Xiaowen ZHU has years of experience in corporate innovation, corporate venture capital and VC investment. She previously worked as innovation team leader in Fortune 500 company Faurecia, and APAC venture manager in world’s leading construction material manufacturer Saint-Gobain. Xiaowen holds bachelor’s degree in Material Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and dual-master’s degree in Material Engineering from both Arts et Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM) and SJTU.
