Before MVL Ellis was Chief Digital Officer of ICONIQ MOTORS, he was the head of implementing upcoming vehicle electronic architecture strategy, building AI cloud services and leading the direction and goal of CarPuter , CarOffice and CarMobility for near future AI Car.
Prior to joining ICONIQ MOTORS, Ellis was developing the digital strategy and prioritizing the digital service, leading big data mining projects and implementing digital operating models for Alibaba. Previously, Ellis was focusing on developing Google’s mobile payment function on the new Android phone and launched the world’s first Google Wallet phone. Ellis has an extensive experience in the technology industry, particularly in developing the chipset and designing hardware products for Intel. As a co-founder of Asus EeePC in 2008, Ellis won the Red Dot Design Award for three consecutive years.

Wang Enxi, the vice president of Sunsea IoT, is in charge of company’s business development and sales. He once occupied important management positions in Huawei, Nokia and Hewlett-Packard China, and has rich management experience in the telecommunications and IT industries. He is a seasoned expert in application development solutions and related software products, involving cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), big data, IoT, BSS, ERP, etc. His experience and innovation skills have helped to explore new business and rapid growth.

Lucas Rondez, CEO, nihub

Lucas Rondez, from Switzerland, is currently the CEO of nihub Innovation Center and Vice President of Hangzhou Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Lucas has lived in Hangzhou since 2005. His life as an entrepreneur started in 2015 when he registered an internet technology company, leading a team to develop NiHao APP, a platform for foreigners living in China. Lucas then went on to found nihub Innovation Center, a services platform for foreign entrepreneurs in China. Through investment and operational services, Lucas and the nihub team work everyday to facilitate foreign innovation in China and bridge the gap between western and foreign markets.

At nihub, Lucas and his team have successfully landed 26 of 196 overseas high-quality projects, in industries including but not limited to artificial intelligence, big data, biomedical science, semiconductor, and other high-tech fields.

In 2017, Lucas was awarded the title of “Xihu Friendship Award”, “Qianjiang Friendship Award” by Hangzhou City as a typical example of a foreigner starting a business in Hangzhou. In 2018, Lucas also received “Hangzhou’s Honorary Citizen” award.

He also manage and support the new business development for GSMA Ltd.

Before Joining GSMA, Charles has more than 15 years sales and marketing experience in Global telecom sector. He used to work in Orange (OBS) and Telefonica Beijing and Hongkong office for Telco international business, MNC sales, Government relationship and partnership with China Telecom/China Unicom. Before Telefonica, Charles used to be the country general manager of ZTE in Latin America, led local team to explore international market successfully.

Leading GSMA 5G Innovation & Investment Group and Ecosystem Engagement in GSMA Greater China, covering the areas of 5G, IoT and AI etc. Before joining GSMA, worked in the telecommunication industry for more than 25 years at Relay2, Nokia and Nortel Networks, with the experience across wireline and wireless product management and sales management on edge computing, ESIM and NB-IoT etc.
